FEATURES OF INTEREST
The drain known as the Forthdyk (now Foredyke Stream) was first cut in the early 13th century. The drain's primary function is thought to have been as a waterway, though it drained Wagne (Wawne), Sutton, Bransholme, and Swine.
Foredyke Green Nature Area is a great family area. It has a labyrinth designed by Kingswood Vicar Rev. Ben Norton. The labyrinth is designed to provide a peaceful place for reflection. The area also contains a large pond with three, large dipping platforms and plenty of safe, play space for children.
