The government has now transferred responsibility for local outbreaks of Coronavirus to local authorities. Hull City Council is ready for this change and has developed a highly detailed Outbreak Management Plan which sets out what our responsibilities are and how we will manage them. All of us have a role in protecting ourselves and others, this means being ready to isolate if you are asked.

The world is opening up again and Hull is no different. But it’s vital we remember Coronavirus has not gone away. Any of us, including the most vulnerable, can still catch it. While most people will recover, it can still be fatal.
