Residents parking information
Parking in the following streets -
- Granville Street
- Lowther Street
- Paisley Street
- Perry Street
- Ruskin Street
- Sandringham Street
- Walliker Street
Is restricted to permit holders only
- Monday to Friday 6pm - 12midnight
- Saturday and Sunday 12noon to 12midnight
This applies from Wednesday 2 October until Sunday 13 October 2019.
Parking for all other permit parking zones are unaffected and the usual restrictions still apply.
It is important for any person looking for vehicle parking to read the parking restrictions signs to make sure you are permitted to park.
EYMS (East Yorkshire Motor Services)
East Yorkshire will be providing extra services during Hull Fair, as well as a number of special buses to the fair.
There will be regular buses direct from Longhill and Holderness Road to the fair on Service 56, with last buses back from the Fair at 11pm.
There will be extra buses on Service 63 from Cottingham and Priory Road and on Service 66 from Hessle and Boothferry Estate. Also, there will be extra 103 buses from the University via Cranbrook Avenue, Inglemire Lane, Cottingham Road, Newland Avenue and Princes Avenue.
New for 2019 will be a diret bus from Withernsea on Service 75, leaving Withernsea (Waxholme Road) at 6.17pm. It will follow the normal route to Hull then continue to the fair on Anlaby Road via Park Street. There will be a return service 11pm. There will also be direct buses to the fair from Beverley on Service 121 leaving Beverley Bus Station at 6pm, 7pm and 7.30pm. These follow the normal route to Hull via Woodmansey and Beverley Road, then continue to the fair. Return buses on 121 will run throughout the evening between 7.45pm and 11pm from the fair back to Beverley.
You can also catch buses to the fair from other areas of the city, including Anlaby, Willerby and the city centre.
