Coronavirus - COVID-19 Information for businesses

Due to Covid-19 working safely guidelines please do not visit our offices or the Guildhall without an appointment.

The Government have announced additional funds to those announced for the Small Business Grants Fund and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants Fund. 

The additional funds are aimed at small businesses with fewer than 50 employees, with ongoing fixed property related costs, which were not eligible for the current grant schemes.

Humber Growth Hub

The council has worked with the Humber LEP to create a business information website - Humber Growth Hub.  To reflect current circumstances, the content will be managed in real time and updated regularly.

As we commission additional support measures as a Growth Hub these will be added to the Humber Growth Hub website -

The UK Government has set out a package of temporary and targeted measures to businesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19 - 

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Get business advice on working safely during COVID-19 and closure restrictions, or report a concern -

You can get advice on how to work safely during the COVID-19 pandemic including social distancing, the current closure restrictions for businesses, or report any potential breaches. Please provide details below.

If you have concerns about members of public not observing government advice in relation to social distancing, you can report this to Humberside Police via their website or by calling 101 if they do not have access to the internet.
