COVID 19 Care Home support plan

Along with key system partners -

  • Hull CCG
  • Primary Care Networks
  • NHS providers

we are working collaboratively to ensure all care homes in Hull receive flexible, targeted support which meets the needs of residents, staff and families.

A Covid 19 Care Home support plan for Hull has been developed to ensure that all system partners understand their roles and responsibilities in working together to ensure that Covid 19 outbreaks are minimised.

Access the letter below for further information.

In May the Government made available a £600m Infection Control Fund for Adult Social Care and each Local Authority received a proportion of this which was to be passed directly on to care home providers.

This fund was made available to support care homes to take additional steps to reduce the spread of infection, including restricting workforce movement and minimising workforce transmission.

Care homes have received their first instalment of this, with the final instalment due imminently.

The grant circular below confirms the proportion of the Infection Control Fund that was received by Hull City Council and details how this has been spent so far.
