Bereavement services

Due to industrial action between our waste contractor FCC and Unison, there may be disruption to waste collection services in Hull between Tuesday 1st May and Monday 14th May.

Due to the disruption, collections may be earlier or later than normal so we would encourage residents to make sure their bin is presented for collection by 7am.

We appreciate residents’ patience through this period of potential service disruption.

We provide support and advice on all issues relating to -

  • cemeteries and burials
  • cremations
  • funerals - arranging a funeral and expenses
  • memorials and after cremation commemoratives
  • family history and historical information

We have five cemeteries and one crematorium located within the city boundary, these are -

During the months of May to end of October we are carrying out some essential maintenance works to Chanterlands Avenue crematorium. We expect some disruption and restricted access during this time, please accept our  apologies for any inconvenience caused. 

The main gates for all of the above close from 7.30pm, all other access gates are locked earlier.
