Council decision records

We are currently experiencing problems with our online forms, please try again later. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

What we do:

We publish records of a lot of the decisions taken within the Council, for example:

• If the decision is being made by a Councillor or an officer (in certain circumstances) outside of a meeting
• When we are awarding a contract where the value is between £50,000 and £250,000.
• When we are granting an exemption from our own Contract Procedure Rules

How we do it:

Before a decision can be acted upon it must be published online. Some decisions also have a cooling off period following publication which means that they cannot be acted upon for a specific time after they have been published.

Why we do it:

We have a commitment to ensure that you know what your Council is doing and what decisions it is making
