Council decision records

Welcome to Hull City Council’s new website. We hope you like our new design and find it easy to use. You can tell us what you think, or make suggestions for improvements, using this form.

What we do:

We publish records of a lot of the decisions taken within the Council, for example:

• If the decision is being made by a Councillor or an officer (in certain circumstances) outside of a meeting
• When we are awarding a contract where the value is between £50,000 and £250,000.
• When we are granting an exemption from our own Contract Procedure Rules

How we do it:

Before a decision can be acted upon it must be published online. Some decisions also have a cooling off period following publication which means that they cannot be acted upon for a specific time after they have been published.
