Lord Mayor of Hull

On Thursday 25 May 2017 Councillor John Hewitt was installed as the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull and Admiral of the Humber.

Councillor John Hewitt's Lady Mayoress is Honorary Alderman Mrs Betty Hewitt.

During his year in office the Lord Mayor and his charity committee is raising money for his chosen charities -

  • Humber Rescue
  • Ward 26 at Castle Hill hospital

The Deputy Lord Mayor is Councillor Pete Allen and his Lady is Mrs Anita Allen.

7pm Hull City Hall - Festival of Remembrance
Saturday 11 November
6.45pm Wenlock Barracks - Remembrance church service (robes). The Deputy Lord Mayor and Lady are also attending.
7.15pm Hull Minster - Make Some Noise charity concert (speech)
Sunday 12 November 
10.15am Britannia Royal Hotel - Remembrance service at Cenotaph (robes, sword and mace)
2.30pm Hull Hebrew congregation - AJEX annual service of Remembrance
