Local Elections 2018

There are local elections in Hull on Thursday 3 May 2018 due to ward boundary changes, there are elections in all wards, for all council seats.

To vote in the election you must be -

  • British
  • Irish
  • from a qualifying Commonwealth country
  • a European Union citizen
  • registered to vote
  • 18 years old or over on 3 May 2018

The deadline for registering to vote in time for the Local Elections on 3 May 2018 has now passed. If you are not registered, you can still register so that you can vote in future elections.

In certain circumstances, where you have an emergency that means you cannot go to the polling station in person, you can apply for an emergency proxy up to 5pm on 3 May 2018. More information is available on the voting by proxy page.
