Local Elections 2018

There are local elections in Hull on Thursday 3 May 2018 due to ward boundary changes, there are elections in all wards, for all council seats.

To vote in the election you must be - 

  • British
  • Irish
  • from a qualifying Commonwealth country
  • a European Union citizen
  • registered to vote
  • 18 years old or over on 3 May 2018

If you are not already registered to vote, you must apply by Tuesday 17 April 2018 if you wish to vote in these elections.

If you are not able to go to your polling station on 3 May, you can apply to vote by post or nominate somebody as your proxy, who can go to your polling station to vote on your behalf. You can find more information about postal and proxy voting and download the application forms from the How to vote page.
