The Chanterlands Crematorium opened in 1961 and offers funeral services in the large chapel seating approximately 220 and small chapel seating 46.
The crematorium is set in the centre of beautiful mature gardens with a seating area around the pond within the sunken garden which offers a glistening water feature and an open and tranquil space to sit and reflect surrounded by nature.
The Crematorium Gardens have been designed to be a beautiful and meaningful area, that have been shaped over the years by the families who have chosen them to commemorate someone they have loved and lost. The gardens can be accessed 365 days a year.
Bereavement services are a team of dedicated professionals with years of experience and knowledge offering help and advice in all aspects of arranging a funeral and continued support.

The books of remembrances are displayed within their own room situated within the main Crematorium building. The pages are turned each morning, and visitors can have access during the working day and at weekends, the book can also be accessed online -
