Rules on who should self-isolate are different with effect from Monday 16 August 2021.

If you need financial support to afford to stay at home, you may be eligible for a Test and Trace Support Payment
If you are self-isolating and not eligible for a Test and Trace support payment, but are unable to meet your immediate short term financial needs please access the below link
Problems with your Employer
If an employer is pressuring you or someone you know to break self-isolation rules, you can report the problem anonymously via the below online form -
Covering your caring responsibilities whilst you self-isolate
If you usually offer unpaid care for someone in Hull outside your own home for example, you are in a support bubble with an elderly relative), and are unable to continue whilst you self-isolate, you can get help from the See and Solve Team.
If you have no friends, neighbours, family or other means of support to help you with practical matters such as grocery shopping whilst you self-isolate, you can request support from the NHS Volunteer Responders.

Most supermarkets offer online ordering and delivery of groceries (usually for a small fee). Two supermarkets also offer telephone ordering -

If you cannot afford food during your self-isolation, one of the local charitable food banks may be able to help you by delivering some essentials.
Please telephone the food bank which is closest to you.
Most pharmacies offer a home delivery service for medicines. Until 30 September 2021, if you have been told to self-isolate by Test and Trace and issued a Test and Trace Account ID (an eight character mix of letters and numbers), you can use this to get your medicine delivery for free during the period you are required to stay at home.
