Post Office card accounts - update
The closure of Post Office Card accounts has been extended to November 2022. Department of Works and Pensions are still encouraging customers who can open a bank account to do so.

Pay your Travellers and Priority Neighbourhoods Housing Rent
Direct debit
We can set up regular payments from your bank or building society account on your behalf. You can download an app to your smartphone for your bank or building society, check their website for more details. Payment by this method is covered by the direct debit guarantee
The easiest way to set up a Direct Debit is to ring our Housing Revenue and Payments Team on 01482 613 636.
Transfers or standing orders
You can transfer a one off payment or set up regular payments from your bank or building society through -
- online banking
- telephone banking
- downloading your bank or building society's app to your smartphone
Alternatively you can fill in a standing order form and return directly to your bank or building society. To request a standing order form, ring our Housing Revenue and Payments Team on 01482 613 636.

Telephone
You can pay by telephone payment on 01482 300 300. Our contact centre staff are available to take payments -
- Monday to Friday - 8am to 7pm
- Saturday - 9am to 1pm

In person
You can pay by cash only at The Wilson Centre.
If you have a swipecard, you can pay your Housing Rent (Travellers and Priority Neighbourhoods) at any -
- UK post office with cash or a cheque
- supermarket or shop that displays the PayPoint logo with cash
