We investigate significant local flooding incidents and publish the results. These are called Section 19 investigation reports.
We produced them following heavy rain in 2012, 2014 and 2019, and the tidal surge in December 2013 which can be accessed below.
Following the widespread flooding in 2007, Professor Tom Coulthard of Hull University chaired an independent review into flooding in Hull.

Flood Alleviation Schemes
Where a local flooding problem is identified, we try to provide local schemes to help prevent or reduce flooding.
Drainage assets
The drainage assets map shows watercourses in the city and who is responsible for them. It also shows pumping stations, screens and other things which help keep the city flood free.
