Planned works are large scale and scheduled works which usually have a long target date.
Planned works schemes include –
- cavity and loft insulation
- smoke alarm upgrades
- extractor fan installations
- external doors
- external painting
The Housing Investment Service plan at the beginning of each financial year which properties will be included in our planned work schemes. The addresses are then passed to our contractors for them to plan the work in with you.
Planned work schemes are each made up of many properties that must be completed over the course of the financial year which runs between April and the following March.
The contractor will contact you at some point in the financial year to inform you of your start date. You will receive a minimum of 2 weeks notice of your start date. If you are unavailable on the scheduled start date, contact the contractor to see if it is possible to rearrange.
