Supported Housing

We review the quality of non-council commissioned supported accommodation. The team works with providers. This is to ensure that supported accommodation is free of significant hazards. We want to make sure tenant support is being delivered to a high standard.

The Supported Housing Provider Charter identifies and establishes shared goals. They will assist Supported Accommodation Providers. We and partners work together. We want to get outcomes for some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable residents. We make the provision of outstanding Supported Accommodation. This is to meet local needs, a shared ambition across all services in Hull.

Our team conducts a proactive property inspection and resident support review programme. They also respond to service requests and complaints from members of the public.

The Supported Residents Rights leaflet has information for supported residents. It can help them know what support they should be receiving from a supported accommodation provider. It also provides general advice about residents' rights.

Supported Accommodation Needs Assessment

A supported Accommodation Needs Assessment was commissioned. It was part of our programme as a Pilot Authority for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Supported Housing Pilot.

Homeless Link was commissioned to complete the needs assessment in Hull.
