Top deck adverse weather closure
From 30 December 2025 the top parking deck will be closed due to expected adverse weather conditions. This closure is due to last until 12 January 2026. Depending on the weather conditions, the closure may stay in place until we feel it is safe to reopen the deck.

Prices
£3 for 24 hours car parking starting from the time at which a pay and display ticket is printed. Adverts within the car park advise customers when Sunday opening is available.
Parking charges also apply to Blue Badge holders.

Monthly or weekly passes
If you have a MiPermit account you are eligible for parking at a rate of £50 per month. Your pass may start on any date and is valid for a full calendar month at both George Street and Pryme Street multi storey car parks. The monthly pass is equal to a saving of 5 days parking.
You may also purchase a weekly pass for £12.50 which can start on any day of the week. Both monthly and weekly tickets can be used on Saturdays and Sundays when the car park is open.
