Customers can request assistance with their wheeled bin collections if they are currently unable to present the bin in the collection location, or their circumstances may change in the near future, and there is nobody over the age of 16 living in the property who can help.
Assisted wheeled bin collections are available for black, blue, brown, and composting bins.
Examples of why a customer may need assistance with their wheeled bin collections may include -
- short or long term medical condition
- poor mobility
Customers can also provide an additional reason why they may not be able to place their bins in the collection location.
Bins must be stored in an easily accessible location, with no access issues - e.g. locks, steps or gates.
An application does not automatically guarantee that the customer will be successful. All applications are sent to Waste Management to review, and the customer will be informed directly if they have been successful.
