Food hygiene rating scheme query
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a joint Food Standards Agency and local authority initiative providing consumers with information about the standard of food hygiene in catering premises, such as -
- restaurants
- shops
- bars
- cafés
- schools
- hospitals
- shops
There are over 2,000 premises eligible for the scheme within Hull.
Scores are awarded for food hygiene compliance, structural compliance, and confidence in management in line with the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme 'Brand Standard'.
Premises are not rated against the quality of the food they produce.
