Details:
This briefing will introduce the ARC framework and explore how various trauma based models fit with this.

Aims: 
To introduce the ARC framework and it’s components in relation to children and families.

Objectives:

  • To gain a basic understanding of the ARC framework.
  • To gain a basic understanding of how the framework fits with the work or care undertaken by individuals.
  • To provide a foundation for development within further courses.
  • To leave the course ready to explore direct practice with children and families within supervision.
Target group

Anyone working with, or caring for, children and families who have experienced trauma.

Learning pathway

Before enrolling onto this course, the pre-requisite course; Attachment, Trauma and Brain Development’ must be attended first.
