Aim

To develop your understanding of culture and learn how to engage effectively with clients and service users who have different cultural backgrounds to yours.

 

Objectives

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Define what is meant by culture.
  • Examine your own cultural background and consider its influence on your professional practice.
  • Use practical tools to recognise, support, and incorporate service users' cultures into your work
