Aims

To develop your understanding of culture and learn how to engage effectively with clients and service users who have different cultural backgrounds to yours.

Objectives

  • Define what is meant by culture.
  • Examine your own cultural background and consider its influence on your professional practice.
  • Use practical tools to recognise, support, and incorporate service users' cultures into your work

For external delegates to the Hull City Council this course will come at a charge of £60+VAT per person.
