Course Information

Course Aims:

  • To understand roles, responsibilities and principles of supervision which support employees to offer the best practice.
  • To develop understanding of the principles of effective critically reflective practice in supervision to achieve good outcomes.

 

Course Objectives:

  • To Recognise the Priority of Supervision.
  • To Identify what good outcomes look like in terms of supervisory practice and explore roles and responsibilities in achieving these.
  • To support critically reflective practice within supervision, which enhance personal and professional development.
  • To support understanding and development of appreciative inquiry within supervision.
  • To promote understanding of the use and validation of supervision documents in meeting employee practice standards.
  • To support understanding of Hull City Councils Competency Framework.
