Details

To benefit learners by enabling them to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.

By the end of the course, participants will cover the following First Aid procedures:

  • Health and safety First Aid regulations
  • Managing an incident
  • The priorities of First Aid
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Resuscitation
  • Shock
  • Bleeding
  • Common workplace injuries
  • Safe use of an AED

For external applicants to Hull City Council there will be a charge of £58 plus VAT (£35 plus VAT for charities) per person.

This course is for people who have a specific responsibility at work to provide basic first aid to people in a range of emergency first aid situations.
