Legionella Awareness - Learning and Development courses

This course will outline responsibilities for the management of legionella. It will give you a general level of awareness of what is required to protect staff and members of the public from legionella exposure on site.

By the end of this course you should -

• understand your legal responsibilities and duties associated with legionella management
• understand the dangers of legionella and where it can be found
• know what management steps need to be taken to minimise the risk of a legionella outbreak to a safe and acceptable level
• know where to go for advice and assistance with regard to legionella management
