What happens on the day of your ceremony
Relax and enjoy your day
You do not need to bring any paperwork or Identifcation documents. All fees are paid in advance so that you can relax and enjoy your day.
The 2 registrars arrive approximately 30 minutes before the start of your ceremony. They will -
- check last minute arrangements
- speak to anyone playing a part in the ceremony
- answer questions
- calm nerves
- make sure everything runs smoothly
- speak to your photographer and or videographer to ensure they can capture those important moments
The registrars have your chosen ceremony script with them and copies of any personal promises and readings. You do not need to bring your own copies unless you want to personalise them with decorations or mount them on card and keep them as memento.
You repeat the words after the registrar, you do not need to try and remember them.
