Celebrate Black History Month in Hull this October
In the UK, Black History Month falls every October. There are a number of events and exhibitions taking place across Hull this month that celebrates and explores black history, and black heritage within our city.

One of Europe’s largest travelling fairs will return to Hull this week for its 730th year. Opening this Friday (4 October) and taking over 16 acres of Walton Street car park, Hull Fair boasts attractions from across the country.

The Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber, Councillor Mark Collinson, extends an invitation to all to meet him in the magnificent Banqueting Hall at the Guildhall on Saturday 19 October from 10:30am to 12pm.
