Any couple of any age or gender can arrange a renewal of vows ceremony. You do not have to live in Hull or have had your original ceremony in Hull to renew your vows here.

A renewal of vows ceremony is divided into sections and can reflect events in your life together. The different sections give you the chance to create something personal and special to you.

We provide a selection of suggested words to use in your ceremony and then script the ceremony from the selections you make. You also have the freedom to be creative and really personalise the ceremony by writing elements yourself. The ceremony can be as long or short as you make it.

We offer ceremonies in our room at The Guildhall and also at all of our approved venues.

If you would like to use a different venue, for example a village hall or your own home, then this is also possible. This request would need to be discussed beforehand and be visited by a member of our team to ensure that the venue is suitable.

The fee for the ceremony will vary depending on the following information you choose -

• time
• venue

You need to contact the specific venue of your choice regarding their availability and their own venue room hire charges.
