COVID - 19 service update 

As you might expect not all of our services to tenants are able to run as usual.  We are still carrying out emergency repairs where the problem poses a health, safety or security risk to-

  • property
  • occupiers
  • visitors

We will be continuing to carry out gas servicing in your home. 

You can report your emergency via 300300 however you will be asked some additional questions to determine whether the repair is an emergency and whether it is safe for us to attend.  To carry out emergency repairs our contractors will employ safe working practices whilst in your home.

If you are a council tenant or you rent a council garage, you can use Housing Self Service to -

  • request new repairs
  • look up your repairs history
  • look up your appointments

Emergency repairs can only be reported by calling 300 300. If you use housing self serve to report a repair that is classed as an emergency you will be advised to call 300 300.

If a repair is found to be needed because of negligence, intentional damage or misuse, you may be charged for the repair.

Repairs responsibility

The repairs service is provided by our partner organisation, KWL and a number of other specialist contractors who do their best to complete all repairs on the first visit however this is not always possible and a further visit or follow up work may be required. If the work cannot be completed in one visit the contractor will explain what needs to be done next and makes arrangements with you for further visits.

If you already have a Housing Self Service account that you use for repairs or your rent accounts use the button below.

If you do not have an online rent account you can sign up for an account by selecting the button below. You will also be able to use this account to request repairs.

You will need your 10 digit payment reference number (some may end in an X), you can find this on your rent statement. Once you have entered the information requested  your user details and password will be emailed to you. You must validate your account then you can request or check repairs straight away.
