We are exploring solutions to improve the energy efficiency of these homes. We plan to test these in a pilot.
It is likely that the improvements would mean that residents would need to move out of their homes. This would be for at least a few hours each day while work is taking place. We gathered feedback from residents of the Beverley Road Calders to find out what they thought about having to move out of their homes. This was also to see if they would want to return.
Once we have more information we will write to residents and private owners of these properties.
For the Beverley Road Calders we will be writing a report in summer for Cabinet to decide on their future.
