Hull Resilience Hub - Founding Member Event

Hull resilience hub founding member event

Supported by Hull City Council and aligned with the national Keep Britain Working Review, the Hub is a new integrated workforce health programme designed specifically for Hull employers.

About this event

A new model for workforce health. Built for Hull employers.

The Keep Britain Working Review demonstrated economic inactivity currently costs the UK £103 billion every year due to workforce health, with 2.8million people currently unable to work due to health. The outlook points to another 700,000 people joining this list by 2030 at an additional cost of £25billion per year. This is unsustainable for the UK economy calling for systemic workplace healthcare reform.
Long-term sickness is rising. NHS pressure is increasing. And SMEs are carrying disproportionate risk - often without structured support to manage it.

In Hull alone, workforce ill health is estimated to cost £500m every year through absence, presenteeism, churn, agency costs, and lost productivity.

The Hull Resilience Hub has been created to change that.

Supported by Hull City Council and aligned with the national Keep Britain Working Review, the Hub is a new integrated workforce health programme designed specifically for Hull employers.
