Hull City Councils Managed Workspace Centres team are happy to announce our bitesize Cyber Security event. The event will take place three times across all sites this year.
AS many know, Cyber Security is no longer just an IT issue - it is a business survival issue. Join us for a free practical three-hour cyber security session designed for businesses of all sizes, from new start-ups to established organisations. The event will explain what Cyber Security really means, why it matters, and the common risks businesses face when they do not have the right protections in place.
With new cyber and business compliance requirements emerging, including the UK’s Cyber Security and Resilience Bill and changes affecting company directors, this session will help you understand what may be coming, what your responsibilities could be, and how to reduce the risk of disruption, financial loss and reputational damage. The event will close with an opportunity to network with other local businesses and continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.
The session is delivered by The Rybec Group, an IASME Certification Body for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. We certify UK businesses every week. You'll get the same straight advice we give paying clients, in a room with other local owners facing exactly the same pressures.
