HCC Domestic Abuse Policy Guidance for Managers and Supervisors - Learning and Development courses

The session aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and the impact for Hull City Council employees.

To offer a common approach and supportive response when identifying an employee experiencing domestic abuse.

• Knowing how to respond to an employee who discloses domestic abuse
• Learning how to identify those who need to be offered support
• Being able to talk about domestic abuse with an employee and explore support options in a safe way
• Knowing what support options are available to them within and outside of the council
• knowing where to signpost employees for further support and advice
