Course Information

Course Aims:

  • To raise awareness of issues relating to knife crime

 

Course Objectives:

  • Describe the nature and Extent of knife crime
  • Outline the Law in relation to offensive weapons and knives
  • List potential signs that someone maybe involved in or be around knife crime
  • Give examples of efforts being made to tackle knife crime
  • Identify ways in which you can support the reduction in knife crime
  • To introduce participant(s) to Virtual Reality
  • Understand what impacts on the decisions we and others make
  • Increase our self-awareness
  • Understand the outcomes of our responses
  • Consider strategies that can be used in heightened situations
