Aims and Objectives: By the end of this session we will have covered: • General introduction to Eating Disorders- main focus Anorexia Nervosa • A journey through the community treatment pathway - including alternative to admissions • When requests for admissions are usually considered • Inpatient treatment plans • Physical effects of Eating Disorders • Mental and emotional effects of eating disorders including on capacity • Considering the Children’s act and eating disorders • Assessing capacity for those with eating disorders • Eating disorders and the mental health act • Eating Disorders and comorbidities |
