Course Information
  • To extend participants knowledge beyond level 1 Adult Safeguarding to working with adults to protect them from abuse and neglect

 

  • Delegates will gain an understanding of the definitions of a 'vulnerable adult' and 'abuse', have the ability to identify types and potential indicators of abuse, know what to do if you suspect a vulnerable adult is at risk, and understand the importance of confidentiality, consent, whistle blowing and recording. This course will enable understanding and awareness of your role and responsibilities within the Safeguarding Adults Multi-Agency Policy, Procedures and practice Guidelines (Hull and East Yorkshire).

Before enrolling onto this course, Safeguarding Adults Level 1 (e-learning) must be completed first.
