Safer Recruitment - EYFS - Learning and Development courses

• N.B. This is not intended to be a comprehensive workshop on staff recruitment and selection

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the training session, participants will:

• Understand a model of offender behaviour.
• Identify the key features of staff recruitment that helps to deter or prevent the appointment of unsuitable people.
• Consider policies and practices that minimise opportunities for abuse or ensure its prompt reporting.
• Help you to review your policies and practice in recruitment with a view to creating a safer culture.

Anyone working in Early Years i.e. nurseries/pre-schools, childminders, playgroups, who play a part within recruitment and selection of staff and/or volunteers
