Hull City Council Parks and Open Spaces manage and maintain council owned open spaces across the city, including over 500 greenspace sites and two local nature reserves, featuring a wide range of natural and semi-natural habitats, from woodlands, parks, meadows and green corridors.
The Hull Nature Trail aims to reconnect people with Hull’s lesser-known green spaces, encouraging exploration and a deeper connection with nature.
Many of these historic walking routes are wildlife havens and offer fantastic opportunities for education and wellbeing.
The trails will link green spaces across the city, connecting parks, pathways, and incorporating transport routes to create a more accessible and enjoyable outdoor network.
The Hull Nature Trail will develop over time with the addition of further routes across the city.
