This is a 4 module programme that aims to raise awareness of diversity. The programme will explore discrimination and racism.
The aim of the programme is to help young people understand the effects of discrimination, build empathy, and challenge discriminating attitudes.
The group is made up of the following sessions -
Session 1 - Introduction

Session 2 - Immigration and Emigration
- understanding Immigration and Emigration
- understanding the problems people may face with moving home
Session 3 - Diverse Nation
- exploring how migration creates a more diverse country
- understanding people’s stories of human migration
Session 4 – Push and Pull
- why people may want to leave or move to a country
- understanding different attitudes and beliefs people have
- understanding what it means to be diverse
