In the UK, we throw away over 600 million batteries every year. Most old batteries end up in landfills, where they can leak harmful chemicals into the soil.
You can help to change this by participating in our new battery recycling scheme.
Host a battery collection point
Your business can become part of the battery recycling scheme. You can do this by requesting to host a battery collection point.
Collections and exchanges
If you are a battery collection point host, you can request that your collection box be emptied.
