Signs of Safety for professionals

Home / Children and families / Children's social care / Signs of Safety for professionals

Signs of Safety is a way of working with children, young people and families. It is a practice model which was developed in Australia in the 1990s and has since been used in thirteen different countries around the world.

We are implementing this model across Children’s Social Care and Early Help.

If you are a professional who works with children and young people in Hull you will notice changes when you -

  • make a referral to us
  • speak to our staff
  • participate in social care or early help meetings

Access the document below to find out more about Signs of Safety and how to contact us.
