There are a number of industrial activities regulated by us. These are contained within the public register as below:
Environmental Permits – Part B regulated activities
There are a number of industrial activities regulated under The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 for emissions to air.
These include-
- cement
- dry cleaning
- timber
- mobile plant
- petrol stations
Environmental Permits – Part A(2) regulated activities
There are a number of industrial activities regulated under The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 for emissions to air, water and land.
Activity types-
- galvanisers
- timber treatment
These permits also contain controls over-
- energy use
- waste production
- raw materials use
- accidents
- noise
How to apply for an Environmental Permit
Contact our Environmental Regulation Section on 01482 300 300 in the first instance. They will log a request to the Environmental team who will advise if you do require an Environmental Permit to operate, and if so provide you with an application form to complete and any guidance needed.
