Changes in your circumstances

Once you are registered on the housing list it is your responsibility to inform us if any of your household circumstances change. If you have changed address, you need to complete a new application form. For other changes see below.

You should also make sure we always have your up-to-date contact details. Failure to advise us of any changes in your circumstances could result in us not being able to make you an offer of a property or withdraw the offer.

Complete the form below to notify us of a change in circumstances. This includes if -

  • someone has moved in or out of the property
  • you need to add or remove a person from your application
  • you would like to amend your requirements
  • a member of your family is expecting, or has had a baby
  • you need to update us of a change to your name

Scammers

Council housing is in short supply and is let to strict criteria as set out in our Allocations Policy, with robust decision-making processes in place which are subject to audits.

We know that scammers are offering to help people get a council home more quickly for payment. Do not exchange money with anyone promising you this as it will be a scam and you will lose money. Report it to us so we can investigate.
