New, replacement and removal of bins

New and replacement bins

Waste collection while waiting for a new bin

If a new or replacement bin has been ordered and you are paying Council Tax and living in the property. You can present up to 4 bags of general waste and unlimited numbers of bags of recycling for collection on your collection day. This is until your new bins are delivered.

We cannot collect bags filled with green waste example -

  • grass
  • shrubs
  • leaves

As this will contaminate the brown bin waste collection vehicle. You can dispose of this material at the household waste recycling centre until your bins are delivered.

Use the below form to -

  • replace a damaged bin
  • replace a lost or stolen bin
  • swap a bin that is too large or too small
  • request an additional bin if you are a large family or have medical needs
  • get a bin removed from your home

Bin deliveries will take place between 7am and 5pm on your delivery date. You do not need to be in your property at the time of the delivery.

Bins will be left within the boundary of your property if access is available. If access is not possible, the bins will be left outside the property boundary.

We cannot deliver or remove bins from tenfoots.
