You can apply to join the Hull Accredited Landlord Scheme (HALS) by completing and returning the application form. You must agree to work to a code of management and meet certain housing standards. This gives reassurance to your current and prospective tenants that you are a responsible landlord.
Benefits of the scheme
The scheme is free to join and if accepted, you receive certain benefits such as -
- advice and training
- provisions of reclaimed refuse bins, subject to availability
- exemption from immediate inspection following a report from a tenant, unless urgent
