The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026, Regulation 19
Kingston upon Hull City Council (“the Council”) HEREBY gives NOTICE of its intention to commence preparation of a new local plan, to be known as the Hull Local Plan. This notice is issued pursuant to Regulation 19 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulation 2026.
Hull City Council, as the minerals and waste planning authority for its administrative area, intends for the Hull Local Plan to incorporate all of the minerals and waste plans in accordance with section 15C(10) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
The Hull Local Plan will cover the administrative boundary of Kingston upon Hull, ONS E06000010.
The Council expects to start the 30-month plan preparation process on Friday 21 August 2026.
A copy of this Notice and associated Local Plan Timetable can be viewed during normal office hours at the -

- Wilson Centre, 1 Alfred Gelder Street, Hull, HU1 2AG
The documents will remain available for the public to view until the expiry of a minimum period of three months beginning with the day after the date on which the relevant plan document to which the documents relate shall be adopted or approved by the Council under Part 2 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
