Employability Support to Businesses

Upskilling Funding

Open to all Hull Businesses for retention of staff or to sufficiently enhance the business to grow. For example, if a member of staff requires training to use a new package or piece of machinery which would negate the need for the business to outsource.

  • training cannot be a legal requirement (for example health and safety) or be partly funded by another grant (it must be paid in full by business)
  • this is only open to Hull Businesses
  • payments are 50% up to a maximum of £1,500 per person
  • a maximum of five applications per business (one application per person)
