Tariff 1. Operable from 6am to 11.30pm Monday to Thursday and from 6am to 9pm Friday to Sunday
- 130 yards or 123.4 metres - £3.50
- each subsequent 105 yards or 96.01 metres - 10p
- Stoppages at all times - £15 per hour and pro rata
Tariff 2. Operable from 11.30pm to 6am Monday to Thursday and from 9pm to 6am Friday to Sunday
- 100 yards or 91.44 metres - £3.50
- each subsequent 84 yards or 76.81 metres - 10p
- Stoppages at all times - £15 per hour and pro rata
Hackney carriages fares by time
£25 for the first hour of a journey and pro rata.
Extra charges applicable at all times
- articles of luggage, excluding items normally classed as hand luggage and also wheelchairs and similar equipment - 20p
- each passenger, in excess of one, to be charged per person - 20p
Bank holiday surcharges
If the hackney carriage is hired on a bank holiday, the surcharge for each journey is £1. This is applicable over a 24-hour period.
Contamination of vehicle
For each contamination of vehicle, inside or out - £40 plus fare
All quoted journeys must be paid for in advance.
