All residents in the area will receive a letter in advance telling them what date the 'Bring Out Your Rubbish Day' will happen.
On the day a refuse collection vehicle and a recycling cage vehicle will be in the chosen area. This will enable you to dispose of any unwanted household items or rubbish, for example -
- black bags
- chairs
- fridges
- sofas
- tables
Help will be available to residents who are unable to take their rubbish to the vehicle, however you must contact the Call Centre on 01482 300 300 at least 3 days before your date to arrange this.
Only items listed will be removed and there will be no collections from ten-foots.
We would also like to carry out a comprehensive deep clean of the area on the same day. This usually takes place between 8am and 1pm. To maximize the area cleaned, it would be helpful if you could park your vehicles in a street other than those listed on the day.
