The current City-wide lead developer site is on the corner of Preston Road between Marfleet Lane and Holderness Drain.

The first phase of 242 homes on the site is near completion, including 25 new council homes for rent. There will be around 500 homes in total, built over the next 5-years. It is part funded by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership. The remaining 167 homes are for sale by Strata Homes, and 50 for private rent from Wise Living.

Keepmoat Homes have begun work on the second phase of 168 homes on the site. This will include 25 Council homes for rent.

To be considered for one of the new Preston Road council homes, you must be registered on our housing list. Bid for them when they are advertised. We usually allocate the homes some time before they are ready. It is important you register on our list and then check our adverts every week for new properties.

We have also agreed some local lettings policies for our new council houses. They give priority to existing council tenants with good tenancy records. Other people can still apply.
