Council domestic high-rise blocks - Lift repairs or replacements
2 - 72 New Michael Street lift repairs
We have been notified that urgent repairs are required to the lift.
The lifts were out of service from 8am on Wednesday 12 August to replace the pulley. Works was completed within 4 hours.
89 - 159 Melville Street lift repairs
We have been notified that urgent repairs are required to the lift.
The lifts will be out of service from 12.30pm on Wednesday 12 August to replace the pulley. Works should be completed within 4 hours.
Padstow House (Even Lifts)
The lifts serving the Evens side of the building is expected to be out of service from Monday 24 August until Friday 28 August, unless unexcepted issues arise, we will continue to monitor and update.
The lifts serving including the Odds side of the building will not be affected.
Gatwick House (both odd and even lifts)
The lifts serving the -
- odd side will be out of service from Thursday 10 September 2026, this will take approximately two weeks to complete. The lift will be available again on Wednesday 23 September 2026
- dven side will be out of service from Thursday 1 October 2026, this will take approximately two weeks to complete. The lift will be available again on Wednesday 14 October 2026
