Grants to Arts - Project Fund
The Grants to Arts Project grants are a way of funding artists and cultural and community organisations to deliver arts-based projects in Hull.
This funding is offered to support the achievement of ambitions articulated within Hull City Council’s Community Plan and Cultural and Heritage Strategy which sit alongside the Hull Music Plan and Public Art Strategy documents. Successful applicants must support aims and ambitions articulated within these key documents.
This is a limited fund, in high demand and seen as vital lifeline to support local arts activity.
Organisations in receipt of NPO funding from Arts Council England and Hull City Council Arts Organisation funding are not eligible to apply for this grant.
You may be eligible to apply for a project grant of up to £5,000 if you or your organisation are organising an arts activity that -
- is within the Hull city boundary and open to the public
- increases access to arts and culture for local communities
- supports community-led or inclusive activity
- develops local artistic talent
- delivers innovation or high-quality cultural activity
